Hello my name is Tim Smith of GMK9 Ltd based in Stockport Cheshire. I enrolled in a GP course in may 2009. Not expecting what was coming I was a little nervous and apprehensive. This was very quickly put aside as I was made very welcome and part of a team from the minute I arrived. I had previously worked as a Dog handler in Germany with a private security company and the equivalent of our prison service. I soon realised that the training was totally the opposite to what I had learned previously, as we used to work with the dogs off lead. The course was very interesting and helpful. The best thing for me was, that it was made fun to learn new skills but also in a professional manor.

Questions were not gone un answered, and the role play during the whole course was an asset to the learning process.
Simon delivered the lessons in a manner that was easy to understand and retain the information given, with regular q & a’s throughout the individual lessons, to get all levels of dog handler experience to the same level and standard.
This also applies to the Continuation Day training with the same professional delivery of lessons and role plays, these days enhance the process of becoming a professional Dog handler, and confident enough to handle all kind of situations that may occur in real life at the work place. would strongly recommend anyone who is looking into going into the profession, to take a course with Simon and Malpeet not just for the learning process but for the location and amenities for training at the L&A centre in Goytre.
I look forward to meeting you all on CT days and to have the chance to meet new people with the same passion for dogs and exchange views, also to make new friends as well as meet old ones.
