The NASDU level 2 Canine First Aid award aims to provide the learner with basic skills, knowledge and understanding of canine emergency first aid.
For Whom Suitable:
This course is ideally suited to anyone who works with or who has an interest in dogs. The course is suitable for dog handlers working with large breeds like German Shepherds and smaller breeds such as Spaniels worked by detection dog handlers.

Course Duration:
1 day- 6 guided learning hours
Programme Structure:
The programme is a mixture of theory and practical tuition for which all assessment criteria must be met
Prior Learning:
There is no requirement of prior learning to achieve this Award
Assessment:
The assessment shall be carried out by either a qualified Veterinarian or Veterinary Nurse.

Bandaging – brief ref to fracture

This course is held at the Malpeet K9 Training Centre, L&A Outdoor Centre, Goytre, West Glamorgan. SA13 2YP
For groups the course can also be deliverd in-house UK wide .

Course Registration:
We are only taking up to ten learners on the course and will be on a first come first served basis. A place is not secured until the booking form is received and fees are paid.
